The tour starts at the entrance
Before a prospect sees a model unit, they see your entrance. A well-built monument tells them the property is cared for. Past the entrance, residents, guests and delivery drivers need building numbers they can read, signs to the leasing office, and clear rules at the pool and the dog park.
We have built entrance signs for The Pointe Apartments, Beachwood Park and Granite Falls Apartments, from architectural monuments to plaques set into brick walls. We handle the permit and the install, and we can do the full package for a new community or replace worn and dated signs during a renovation or rebrand.
Signs are also one of the most visible parts of a renovation. Faded building numbers and peeling leasing signs make a well-run community look neglected, and new ones show residents and prospects that the property is being taken care of.
What an apartment sign package covers

Entrance monuments
A stone, brick or architectural sign at the main entrance, often lit, that sets the tone for the whole property.

Brick and stone wall plaques
A plaque or letters set into an entrance wall, built to match the buildings.
Building numbers and directionals
Large building numbers and site maps so residents, guests, delivery drivers and emergency crews find the right door.
Leasing office and amenity signs
Leasing office, clubhouse, fitness room, mail room and pool signs, with ADA signs where they are required.
Now Leasing banners
Banners and flags for lease-up, move-in specials and open houses.
How an apartment sign project works
Site walk
We walk the property with your manager and note every entrance, building and amenity.
Sign plan
One plan lists every sign, its wording and location, from the monument to the pool rules.
Design
You see drawings that match the architecture and your brand.
Permits
We file permits for the monument and other ground signs.
Install
We install in phases if needed, so residents are not disrupted.
Apartment sign questions
Do building numbers have to meet a code?
Fire code requires address and building numbers that emergency crews can read from the street or access road, and local fire marshals may set size and contrast rules. We size numbers to be read from where crews will be looking.
Which apartment signs need Braille?
Signs for permanent rooms in public and common areas, like the leasing office, restrooms, fitness room and mail room, need raised text and Braille under the ADA. Directional signs and the entrance monument do not.
We are rebranding the property. Can you replace every sign?
Yes. We can replace the full set at once or in phases, and reuse sound monument bases with new faces or plaques to save money.
Can the entrance sign be lit?
Yes. Ground spotlights are common on stone and brick signs. Letters and panels can also be lit from inside or behind.
Do you make pool and amenity rule signs?
Yes. We make rule and amenity signs in aluminum, acrylic or PVC, in your property colors, so they match the rest of the signs on site.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in North Raleigh and work across the Triangle, including Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Garner, Morrisville and Fuquay-Varina.
