Your storefront is your best ad
A store sign works every hour you're open and a few after. In a strip center, your letters compete with every other tenant for a driver's eye. In a mall, the sign has to meet the center's rules and still catch someone walking past. On a walkable street, a blade sign reaches people the wall sign can't.
We have made storefront signs for Claire's, Swarovski and Cellaxs in malls, and for local shops and salons like Boardroom Salon, Polished and Encore Salon & Day Spa. That includes lit channel letters, blade signs, frosted window lettering and carved post and panel signs. We get the landlord approval and the permit.
Retail tenants also move, rebrand and remodel more often than most businesses. A lit cabinet can take a new face, and channel letters can often be refaced instead of replaced, which keeps the cost of a change down.

Retail sign questions
What are landlord sign criteria?
Most shopping centers and malls have a written document that sets the sign type, size, color, lighting and mounting for every tenant. Your lease usually references it. We design within it and submit drawings for approval.
How long does a storefront sign take?
Lit signs usually take 4 to 8 weeks from design approval to installation. Landlord review and the permit are the biggest variables, so start as soon as your lease is signed.
Can you make a panel for the shopping center sign?
Yes. We make replacement panels sized to the existing pylon or monument cabinet and install them.
Is a blade sign worth it?
If people walk past your store, yes. A wall sign is flat to the sidewalk, so pedestrians only see it head on. A blade sign faces them as they walk toward you.
Can you update our window graphics for sales and seasons?
Yes. Vinyl window graphics come off cleanly, so you can change promotions as often as you like.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in North Raleigh and work across the Triangle, including Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Garner, Morrisville and Fuquay-Varina.
