A permanent sign with a message you can change
Most monument signs say one thing for as long as they stand. An LED monument keeps your name and logo on a solid base and adds a programmable display below or beside it. Service times, a school event, this week's special or a parking notice can go up in minutes, and nobody has to stand in the grass swapping plastic letters.
We design the base and the display as one piece, so the screen looks built in rather than bolted on. That means sizing the base around the display, planning power to the sign, and checking your town's rules on lit and changing signs before the design is final. Then we file the permit, build the sign and install it.
What goes into an LED monument sign
The base
Stone, brick veneer or stucco, with carved HDU details if you want them. It should match your building and carry the weight of the display.
The name panel
Your name and logo on a lit cabinet face or in dimensional letters above the screen. This part never changes, so it has to read from the road on its own.
The message display
A single color or full color LED board, sized for how far away people will be when they read it and for what your sign code allows.
The software
Messages are typed and scheduled from a computer or phone. You can line up a week of posts in one sitting.
Lighting for the rest
A backlit name panel or ground spotlights, so the whole sign reads after dark and not just the screen.

LED monument sign questions
How much does an LED monument sign cost?
It depends mostly on the size and type of display and the materials in the base. Our custom lit stone and brick monuments usually run $5,000 to $25,000 or more, and the LED display is a large part of the cost of an electronic one. You get a free written quote after a site visit.
Are LED monument signs allowed where I am?
Not everywhere. Electronic message signs face tighter rules than standard signs. Towns commonly limit how often the message can change, how bright the display can be at night and whether it can scroll or animate, and some zoning districts do not allow them at all. We check the rules for your property before design.
How do I change the message?
Through the software that comes with the display, usually from a computer or phone. Most systems let you schedule messages ahead of time, so next Sunday's service times can go up on Monday.
Should I get a single color or full color display?
Single color costs less and works well for words and numbers like times, dates and prices. Full color handles logos, photos and graphics. If you mostly post text, single color may be all you need.
How long does it take?
Most monument projects take 4 to 8 weeks from the first visit to installation. Permit review is the part that varies most, and electronic signs can get a closer look than standard ones.
What areas do you serve?
