Calm, clear and easy to find
Patients often arrive stressed, unwell or in a hurry. Your sign out front should be easy to read from the road, and the building should be easy to find in a medical park full of look-alike buildings. Inside, every exam room, office and restroom needs an ADA sign, and patients need clear directions to check-in, labs and imaging.
We have made signs for Maplewood Family Dental, Allen Aesthetic Surgery, Advance Community Health, Carolina Elite Women's Care and New Hartford Psychological. That covers lit logos, monuments, carved post and panel signs and acrylic lobby signs. We handle the permit, the landlord approval and the install, so your office manager has one call to make.
Signs medical and dental offices usually need

Monument signs
A ground sign at the driveway so patients spot your practice in a busy medical park.

Lit building letters
Channel or halo-lit letters on the building that look professional and stay readable after dark.

Lobby signs
Your logo behind reception in acrylic or metal, the first thing patients see when they walk in.
Exam room and ADA signs
Exam rooms, offices, restrooms and suite numbers with raised text and Braille, mounted to code.
Patient wayfinding
Directional signs to check-in, labs, imaging and exits, plus directories for multi-tenant buildings.

Post and panel signs
A carved panel between posts. A good fit for smaller practices and converted houses.

Medical office sign questions
Which signs in a medical office have to meet the ADA?
Signs that identify permanent rooms, like exam rooms, offices, restrooms and stairwells, need raised text and Braille, a non-glare finish and the right mounting height. Directional signs need high contrast but no Braille.
What kind of exterior sign suits a medical practice?
Halo-lit letters and stone or brick monuments give a calm, professional look. Channel letters are easier to read from far away. The right choice depends on your building, your landlord rules and how far away patients will be.
We share a building with other practices. Can we get our own sign?
Usually, through a panel on the building monument, a spot on the directory and your own suite sign. We work within the landlord sign rules and get approval.
Can room signs show a provider name that changes?
Room signs can include a slot for a changeable name insert, so you can update a provider name without replacing the sign. The ADA text and Braille stay in place. Ask us about in-use indicators when we walk the office.
How much do exam room signs cost?
A single ADA room sign typically runs $30 to $150, depending on material and finish. Whole-office packages are quoted from a sign list after a walk-through.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in North Raleigh and work across the Triangle, including Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Garner, Morrisville and Fuquay-Varina.
